Description
No one who's done this has committed any crime, but I get sick of people calling pictures they made as requests or in art trades Request for So-and-So or Art Trade with This-Person or OC Request #XX or things like that. They give their more unique pieces original titles and then give the ones they make for requests and trades such unbearably un-good titles that the title screams I-didn't-care-one-bit-about-this-and-did-it-in-a-halfhearted-manner-purely-because-I-was-obligated-to.
I made this for
. I made her something better than that, and gave it an appropriately better-than-that title. 
She wanted a picture of LinkxDarkLink, but since I don' do dat shipping, I made her this instead!
Before you praise me for this, I must confess my crime. Tracing was used to make this picture, and anyone who knows enough official Zelda artwork offhand will know offhand exactly which picture I wanted to trace. I referenced it also- and that's why Link is so well colored and shaded, but I traced it's outline. Once for Link, and again for Todd. Line-wise, the only things I didn't trace for Link, were... I made his hair bigger, and I didn't trace his face! I wanted to trace the rest of the lines to get everything exact as possible- even tracing the flipped image.
At least you can't trace colors!
To lengthen the credits beyond "Nintendo", I used a technique
told me of to color Link's hair- with EPIC RESULTS. Add my own highlight and BAM.
Why is Link's shading so good? That's what happens when I shade off a reference! Why is Todd's shading so bad? That's what happens when I don't. OTL
I thought this idea would be great because Link is left handed and Todd is not. And Dark Link has glowing eyes, but they glow red. I could have made the "jewel" on The Shining Sword red... should I have? And because Todd's outfit is similar enough to Link's and because he wears it in so many different colors. Link wears different colors too, but nobody ever gives him credit for that...
Oh. And what's that in Todd's hand, you ask?

Woah. This really is a nice drawing, and I also like how you turned it into a mirror. They're both the heroes of their own world, which sort of makes them two of a kind. They're totally different characters but they both still have the heroic air we all love about them. ^_^
Also, is it just me or do I hear Sera's Forest?
Like, I can legit see these two collecting masks or magical instruments
or something together.
Like, "Hey, Link, mind if I come with you to save the world from that evil avacado?" And then Link just makes one of his gasp noises, a gasp of approval since he only gasps in-game, and then they just go ham. A lot like Mickey Mouse's, "Oh-hoh!". No idea if Todd would say something like that in canon, but it looks like they might be ready to dual attack something in our direction, haha. After all, he has his own universe to defend and friends to battle along side.
Maybe what's in Todd's hand is magical. Like, an origami sword that can almost cut diamonds and can shapeshift into other weapons and tools at his will. The only way to unlock said tools and weapons is by going on a long and compelling journey.
